EGT's

Hey everyone just installed f5 dptuner chip 60tow 80econo on 02 f250sdcc. Works awsome

I know what too high egt's do, however would they get high enough towing a 8000# tt on 60hp tow setting to do any damage?

thanks

Sorry that what I have to say is not going to answer your question but, I would recommend to just go ahead and get the gauges. The little cost now compared to what it can save in the long run is more than well worth it. It can also help you diagnose other problems later.

I am not promising anything but, as long as you keep it easy on the throttle you should be alright as long as you have upgraded you exhaust and intake also. Do you have an auto? That can make a big difference depending on driving style.

Keep the RPM'S up and it won't build as much heat when you hit the hills.
