This was odd...

I always have my truck out of OD when driving around town, today i was driving around and looked down and my speedo was dead on 0.. no matter how fast of slow it was on 0! i thought damn that sucks, but then i had to turn around and was on a long LONG strait away and thought boy i have not been on this thing sence i fixed it..... SO i stomped on it then the OD light starting flashing and would not go into OD even at higher speeds! so i pulled into a parking lot and shut it off, then started it and it back to normal, the speedo worked and it was able to use OD.. Wierd, and one else have this?

Take the sensor out & try cleaning it. Sometimes thats all it needs.

Are the speed sensors all the same, even with gas trucks? I've got a parts truck and want to use the speed sensor off of that.

I imagine it would be as long as it plugs in and fits the hole in the rear.
