trans gauge

i am trying to install my trans temp gauge, and the probe wont fit into the spot on the drivers side of the tranny, the spot that is shown on dieselmanor. they are autometer silver sport comp. anyone have any advice
?

Is it electric or mech gauge? It should fit right in... See Pic...

its mech, the probe that came with it wont even fit,

Yeah, your going to have a hard time finding a place for that long probe. Probably have better luck with an electric guage:shrug:

Yup, ya got hosed with a Mech gauge... Take the pan off and weld a bung in it?
