I finally installed my DP Tuner

Well I finally installed my chip from Jody tonight (60tow, 80 econo, 120 race). First thoughts, well it is ok. I guess I expected more. I had the hypertech 50 and I can tell a difference but not too much. I thought it would hold me in the seat with all of the torque, but it does not. I am also concerned that when it shifts it feels like the tranny slips (may be the torque converter is not locking???)
I left Jody a message because I am suppose to have the no start function on #0 but I can not get to #0. Also I never get a ses light unless I go to #1 which is suppose to be stock. No matter if I am stopped, in park or going down the road it will come on as soon as I put it in #1. Hopefully Jody will call me back and let me know what may or may not be wrong.

Sounds like it was not programed correctly. Hopefully Jody will give you a call soon and get it figured out.
Good luck,
Kenny

Make sure you have the pcm contacts cleaned good, also to get to no-start push both buttons together and you should get to a blinking 0.You should have felt a huge difference,I still have a ear to ear grin with Jody's tunes

Something has to be wrong, if you can't tell the difference between the hypercrap 50 and the 120 setting. I can't keep from spinning a set of 35's if I hammer the throttle, not counting chirping them again on the shift from 1st to 2nd. I would give him a call, and see what he has to say. How many miles on the tranny?

I have a buddy that had a hypertech 50. he got the dp 60 80E and the 120 and it gave his truck instant balls. he has a 2000 F-250 psd. when he had the hypertech it couldn't touch my truck, but now he can hang with the big boys like me, ha ha just joking.

Did you ever get this issue resolved? What did Jody say?

Yes, I sent it back to him. He changed the set up to keep the tranny from shifting at the same time the converter locks

How did it feel before when it felt like it was slipping? How does it feel now that the TC doesnt lock at the same time as it shifts?
