Are you going to be installing bigger injectors? The max you will be able to flow with stock injectors is about 80HP over stock. I love the 80 Econo in my EX, but have no idea what it would be like in my OBS.

I drive around in the 120 setting all the time. Didn't get the 80E because I hardly drive the truck empty. I use the 60T all the time loaded regardless of the weight and don't' have any problems. I like the high idle for cold weather, or hot weather when I want to keep the A/C blowing cold.

Without the 6.0 Spearco the EGTs might get a bit warm with the weight I tug around, but it would still be manageable in the 60T. The way it is now I never have to back out, I occasionally see 1250 but not often.

Which 80 did you get?

My main tune has always been the 60tow. I get the same fuel mileage with the 60tow and the 80econo with no EGT issues in the 60 tow. Like WreckerMan I never have to back out of it because of EGT's. I am wanting to try the 80tow and will just "drive by the pyro" if needed.

well again i just just changed my mind. i am going with stock 60 tow 100race and of course the smoke.

i was going to get the 80 econ. but i heard that the mileage is not to much different than the 60 like you said. so i just skipped over the 80's

I know i pulled with a banks big hoss level 4. now that was a plug and play no adjustments. i had to drive by the pyro. but with a 23ft gooseneck stoack trailer and two horses i will have to say it did rather good with the egts. i was surprised the intercooler made a HUGE difference.

whys everyone making a huge deal out of running the 80 econo program? ive used it in my truck and in my cousins and we both love it, no EGT problems at all, going down the 1/4 mile max egts were 1100, very safe. my cousin towed about 15000lbs with his truck using this program, safe EGTs and plenty of power, id highly recommend it, my truck had 280rwhp/550tq with it in there. not to mention it works extremely well with the stock hpops, no flat throttle like bigger programs.
