can you remove your chip w/o

disconnecting the harness from the pcm? Kind of hard to tell the ford dealer i don't have a chip when a Po60? "keep memory alive code " keeps showing.

You can take it off with out unplugging it. I never unlpug my PCM to remove the chip... Just make sure the key is not on.

Make a habit of pulling the keys out of the ignition and putting them in your pocket to pull the chip and you will be just fine. Don't need to disconnect anything.

Make sure the key is OUT OF THE IGNITION! not just "off".

Make sure the keys are out... Pull mine all the time... But why worry... What year is your truck, most likly you have no warranty anyway...
