DP Install question

I just ordered my DP tuner yesterday and I had a question relating to keeping the keys out of the ign during the install. Often when my keys are out I still get to door chime, if I jiggle the wire bundle that runs to the key cylinder or tap on the cylinder, the chime will stop. Will this cause a problem when I go to install my chip?

Is it the unhooking and re-attaching the plug in the engine bay that is the step that will cause problems?

If you have some kind of power still on and you do any kind of plugging or unplugging of the PCM your at risk of frying things. When you mess with the chip ALWAYS keep your keys in your pocket and in your case disconnect the batteries too be safe.I will get very expensive frying the PCM and possibly the chip.
