Unhappy Fresh DP Tuner, installed properly and not functioning

 Read the second post.

Okay I just got my DP tuner in the mail today, I got the normal F5 Chip with 60tow/80eco/120race/140aggressive. I read the instructions throughly and watched the video posted in this forum, I did everything slowly and made sure everything looked perfect. Installed the PCM back in place and ran the cord to the F5 switch. Connected the cord to the switch, did not mount the switch yet as I wanted to test it. Secured the cord to switch again, and put in the key and turned it, No LED, nothing yet, Cranked it, she started up normally, still no LED indicator.... what gives? I wanted to contact DP, but it is already to late, ugh, help please.

New problem! Went out to check it again, and I guess it was on No Start? Although in the papers no where did it say, blah maybe I missed it, Anyways hold the left button for a couple of seconds and it comes on! So I was excited, I started it in stock and then switched it to 3 (80eco) and drove it around, felt nothing, and saw no smoke... I was puzzled so I threw it in 140 excepting to definitely feel something, and again no smoke at all and didn't feel a thing, I DID however maybe notice way better shifting, but there has to be something wrong, I did not just buy a shift tuner, Where is my damn perma-grin~! Where is my smoke!

Give Jody and Diane a call later today and discuss the chip with them. I am sure that if there is a problem its minor and will be corrected asap.

Gave them a call. It did end up being that the contacts were not cleaned enough, they did say it was odd that the switch would turn on but the chip was not functioning. They said it must have been that only one side of the contact was clean enough. Well I took off from work early and cleaned it and reinstalled everything, and now I am speachless, I got my permagrin on from ear to ear.
