A ? about DP tuner

Everyone knows that they rock! No question about that. My question is about how the F-5 switch is hooked up to the PCM. Has anyone had any problems with the wire pulling or slipping out? How do you prevent or fix this? I think someone said duct tape. Does anyone have any issues with it falling out?

I'm sorry. I meant the chip. This is for my fathers truck. He had another chip that was loosing contact with the computer and causing his truck to shut off randomly. The chip was duct taped in and still loosing contact. Now he is wanting to upgrade and I told him that everyone with a 7.3liter raves about DP-tuner.

Don't know if your still having problems with your fathers truck or not. But my truck will shut off randomly every now and then too. Thought it was the chips connection so I took it out and the truck still did it. I've yet to figure out what the hell it is.

if you guys are running the f5 they have had few problems with the controller switch, if this is the case and knowing how great jody and diane at dp tuner they will replace it, just call and share the problem or you can bend a pin slightly on the back sid eof the switch housing and it will snug up the connection. Just a thought, good luck
