someone gave me a max micro tuner??????

a co-worker gave me a superchips max micro tuner part# 1705 for 94 - 03 powerstroke. as you can see from my sig i already have a banks package. here's my question, can i send this unit back to superchips to have a hotter program installed, this unit is set up for 80hp and 185ft lbs. can i choose to not use the tranny upgrades due to the fact that i have a banks trans command? for now i want to use it to calibrate for new tire sizes and maybe trouble codes. this unit also looks like an sct tuner, is anyone able to take this unit and put some serious tunes on it?
thanks,
-Q-

DO NOT throw it away. They work very well as a code reader. Other than that they are kind of worthless.

I've got a 1705 Superchips that came with the truck when I bought it. I use it to read and clear codes all the time.

Power Stroke - I could probably get you about 50 bucks or so for one of those 1705's if it isn't VIN locked. I would have to talk to my buddy but I bet he would spend that. I put mine on his truck one time and he was quite impressed.

The superchip programer has no tranny tuning at all. It is not upgradeable. Makes a dandy door stop or code reader.

i read in the booklet that you can change shift points, so on so on.....
i figured it may be worthless. the guy who gave it to me only asked me to buy him a nice lunch in return, not a bad deal?
can i still go in and re-calibrate tire sizes? i guess that and trouble codes is all it's about good to me now.....
