18k mod how hard on HPOP&injectors??

From what i am reading about these 10k/18k mods is that they increase oil pressure from the hpop. I have a stock truck Whit 314k on it and was wondering if these mods would hurt or shorten the life of the hpop or injectors. I don't have a lot of cash to upgrade but would like a little more power and MPG and for the price the 18k mod is cheap. Also can a super duty hpop just bolt on the OBS trucks. Thanks

It is not "easy" on ANY of the expen$ive parts of the engine, Injectors, HPOP, etc. It is especially hard on the automatic transmissions.

The A/Ts are computer controlled, the computer thinks you are making "this much" power, when really you are making a lot more. So, the trans gets toasted due to excessive slippage (low LP and slow shifts).

No, a "shift kit" is NOT the proper solution, a real chip that modifies the computer's operating methods IS.

I personally have 259K on my truck still original HPOP and tranny. I have the 18K+ installed since day one. There has been no data what so ever that shows that any ICP mode shortens the life of either one. I have also installed them on PSD that have over 500K and they are still running strong.

It is just a little 60hp module that is a DFuser exclusive.

Or I guess some have a 18K version of the well know "10K MOD".

early 99 with some stuff on it

Well the module MIGHT give you some low end torque but with that stack I doubt it will do much.

The other will make the computer think the HPOP it isnt giving enough oil pressure and in turn up the pressure at low RPM which will give you more low end power. But again with the stack you probably wont need this mod either. Also this COULD put alot of strain on the HPOP and it COULD give a rougher idle. Make sense??

Thats the best I can do.
