I put a TS chip on mine and love it! Shifts bit firmer, but it's ok as long as you watch the temps and pyro.

i got a ts chip also. i love it but i heard a lot of good things about the dp tuner also. i bout to buy a dp soon and see what i think about it. the hp is the same but you have more options and settings with the dp tuner. go to the web site and check it out. oh yeah the ts chip has no problem destorying a sock tranny. it tore my tq converter up and burned up some clutches. but they say all u really need on these trannys are a bigger cooler, tq converter, shift kit and a valve body, for small engine mods.

TS chips can't keep up with DP-Tuner.

i bought a ts, had it for a while, but it was about to rip my tranny out from under me, to say the least, i didn't care for the program, just a personal preference, so had had Aden at GOS performance re-burn my chip with his own custom program, its sweet! the shifts are way smoother, and i think firmer than the ts, also the power is absolutley crazy, and it will blow enough black smoke to repaint the car next to me black. its an awesome program!

I originally had a TS in my early 99. it did make more power, but I didn't like the drivability with the 6-speed. I eventually swapped it for a DP Tuner and the difference is night and day, the DP blows away the TS hands down. I mean the TS is a good chip and does make good power, but the DP is better, a lot better!

I have a ts chip and love it. The 140HP extreme setting is insane. Will eventually kill the trq converter though. Converter mods are recommended
