Whats this Chip?

theres a chip pluged into the pcm on my truck its gold and says superchips on it... i havnt seen a chip made by superchips, i thought it may be a generic version. But if anybody knows what im talking about, tell me about it thanks

Its called a Superchips Gold Flash Module.. I dont think they have made these for quite some time now.. I never knew them to be made for a dodge though.. Hope this helped!

thanks, its on my 99 f350, sorry i didnt tell you that. You wouldnt know the hp ratings on this would you?

in my opinion its superchips id throw it away hp ratings prolly like 80 but i dunno how corect there ratings are. ive raced a but of superchip owners and it has no comparison.

Erik, 2001 psd 4x4 lariat ext cab pulling truck
Ts 140hp 6pos chip, 100hp split shots, stealth 2 pump,h2e turbo, tranny, afe stage 2,
5" exhaust turbo back, 10" stack, 3.9k mod on a switch, shimmed fpr,hx crossover hose, tc lock up switch. Custom weight rack and ladder bars, f550 springs, custom paint,5%+15% window tint, clear lights,custom billet grille, very big stereo, 20x10 moto meatals wrap with 33x13.50x20 ss iroks

1996 2500 12v 2wd auto reg cab, flat bed, afc mods, sdx 140hp sticks, 4gsk, 60lbs springs, 191dv's, head studs, 16* timing, phat shaft 62/65/14 no plate, exhaust, intake, tanny, auto meter, adjustable overflow valve.

superchip isn't the best but why throw it away its still better than running a stock truck. I'd keep until you can get something better:2cents

yeah but its the only thing ive got right now....i took it off and drove it around for a little and just about cried it was soo weak
