Towing with Dp econo mode

I am sending my PCM to have the 80 HP econo mode put in. I have an 01 F-250 with a 6 speed. I also have installed a Walker free flow muffler on it. I tow a toy hauler that weighs appx. #6500 lbs. I only tow during the summer. Will I have any problems? From what I have read it easier to control temps with the 6 speed, true?

yea it easier to control egts b/c you can shift down. but if your towing just get a 60hp tow tune, i use my 60hp tow tune all the time for my truck its the best to tow in, i have 80hp tow, 60,40 and 20 all tow tunes and the 60 does the best. 80 tow still gets pretty hot and smokes quite a bit if its lugged a lil bit, but the 60 tow is perfect great power and stays pretty cool.

i would just get a 60tow tune.

but what kind of chip do you have?

i think that i am going to go to the 80hp tow tune, the 60 just doesnt seem to be enough with a heavy load, my temps stay really really cool with the 60 even on hills

You won't be dissapointed with the 80 economy from DP-Tuner.
