Speedo Calibration

I Just Put A Leveling Kit And 315`s On My Truck ,now I Need A Tuner 2 Correct Speedo And Would Also Like 2 Firm Up My Shifts,i Dont Really Need A Tuner 2 Gain Power,any Suggestions On Which One Too Buy?i Was Looking At Hypertech & Pro Comp But Am Open To Suggestions.by The Way Its A 00 F350 Ccsb 4x4,bully Dog Rfi,edge E-z,summit 2 1/2 Leveling Kit,procomp 16+10 Black 7189,procomp Extreme At.

Check out the TS respeed. It won't change shift firmness but it's a very nice speedo corrector.

A chip is the best way to firm up shifts. It will make more power (if you get high power programs) than the programmer stuff you have now also.

Just to clarify a chip will not recal for tire size.

I just installed the superlifts truspeed. You can adjust for 2 sets of tires. It`s not a tuner . Works great !! I installed it almost5 1/2 years ago now , no problems.

Truspeed here as well.

there is the respeed,speedwizard,accuspeed and a few more out there. I wouldnt wory about the speedo unless your running larger than 35s. since your gonn be less than 4 mph off.

and prior to 2003 most tuners wont correct the speedo..

35 inch tires puts you almost 10% off thats a little more than just 3 or 4 if you are showing 70 on the speedomometer

Any reputable Ford Diesel repair shop should have an IGS(Not sure on the name) which they can recalibrate your computer for x amount of revolutions per mile.. I was told that the max that you could do this with is a 35" tire..
