Dp or Edge Attitude?

First off im looking to buy a 2001 ford f250 xl reg cab with 255k for 4000, and need some advice for upgrading. I know everyone says go with DP but the Edge Attitude seems to be a good unit and already has the gauges built. Also what intake should i get and where can i get a turbo back stack kit? Thanks, Josh

the problem with the edge yes it has the gauges but they dont read correct and they are hard to see going down the road i sold my edge to get a dp and could not be happyer

I would get the dptuner but If you really want the edge I will sell the one on my truck

dont get the edge the dp make more power, and another option for you is tony wildman he makes a really nice chip

{95 F250 Powerstroke XLT} 5 spd, Wildman 6 pos. chip, custom IC, ADs, AFE stage 2 intake, 3" down pipe to custom 5in stack. EBPV break, shimed FPR, idm mod by mattymx, CCV mod, Leveling Kit, diprocol egt and boost guages.

I will agree the Edge is hard to read, not very accurate and my screen likes to freeze up. I bought it back in the day when it seemed to be the best out there, but you cannot compete with custom tunes. Im not bashing edge but there is better out there. DP all the way:Thumbup:

Yes. Go OVER the Edge, and into the DPer end of tuning.
Sorry, couldnt resist.:

"MOby" The big white bio-burning 03 7.3 4x4. 6637, straight piped stock exhaust, and a new "secret" blend of Haul asBLEEPsing mods and upgrades. Suffice to say, its still not the fastest, but its quick enough to worry lots!

I was always happy with the EDGE evolution 2 but it had the DP tunes.:evil:

I never had any problems and could read and run DTCs on the fly and all the features it has and with 11 different PID readings .. love it..

i sold my edge to get a dp money well spent nice with the push of a button and bamo new hp setting
