Option to ATS housing

Has anyone tried this housing for the 7.3 turbo. After I DP'd my truck I am suffering from turbo surging.
Thanks

I went with the 1.0 exhaust housing. No surge and cheaper.

02 F250 CC, 4X4,SB. DP Tunes stk, 80econ,120. NAPA 6637 air element. Summit 4" turboback. GDS hi-flo outlet. 1.0 turbine housing. HX cross-over. Modded pedestal. CCV mod. Fuel rails connected. AIH delete, pre-pump.

Personally I wouldn't waste my money on the housing in the link. If you want a 1.0 housing get one of the ones that have been available for a long time WITH a wastegate! Your drive pressure will stay lower and your boost will be more controllable. The spool up will be the same because it's still a 1.0 housing. This housing is good for engines that run at a single rpm like a generator and has absolutly no advantage over a 1.0 wastegated housing but has the dissadvantage of higher drive pressures at higher rpm/throttle settings because it doesn't have a wastegate to dump the excess.

Are you referring to the compressor or turbine housing from ATS? The pic is of a turbine housing.
