dp f5 on OBS... How Long?

i watched the movie for sd looks like it took maybe an hour. but i looked over the instuctions and looks somewhat time consuming.
ido maint. for a living so i know i can do it. i work with gearboxes motors chain and rubber belts. but i work 12hrs and commute 2 so leaves 10 aday for sleep and family time. and saturdays are catch up on sleep and family so in order to work on truck i need kitchen pass so anybody could gives som start to burnin tires time that would be sweet. and one more thing is it acetone he used to clean contacts? i can't remember. thanks

Yes, finger nail polish remover, which is basically acetone. It to me about 1.5 hrs to install the longest part was it took 45 minutes cause I was slow.

yea i see. to me it looked like then newer SD was a bit easier. on mine i got pull the front fenderwell away and reach up there and pull out pcm.

I think that the computer on the OBS trucks in under the hood and above the driver side fenderwell.

yea well its done!!! way better than whatever superchips thing was installed. probly took me 2 hrs. because i made sure i followed every step in the book thing and well there were 6 not 2 screws that held the splash gaurd on so lost half hour messin with that. but overall MISSION ACCOMPLISED. THANKS DP_TUNER. I love you!!!

took me about 30 to put my chip in, it'll take you 5 if someone's had a chip in the truck before just pull off the ebrake pedal assy and you see the back of the PCM where the chip plugs in.

yeah but the other person had the reprogrammer so i had to clean off the pcm.
