Stacking chips and tuners??

This might be a really stupid question but can I stack my edge evolution programmer with the DP tuner f5 when I get it?? I have talked to alot of people around here and just have not got a full answer to my question.. Thanks :shrug:

yes you can but the edge will only be good to change tire size cal and such and nothing for power...the chip (F5)will always win..hope this helps

The F5 will overide the edge everytime! Hope this helped... :Thumbup:

Chips always override downloaders, so the stack won't do you any good, except to see DTC's and adjust your speed limiter and speedo. There won't be any performance gains from it. Most people agree that these motors don't take to stacking very well, anyway. Be careful what you do or you'll be hunting for a new PCM...

With a properly tuned single power adder, you don't NEED and you won't benefit from a second tuner stacked on a 7.3

yea they override. dp f5 is so much better. just wont stay off 100 hp setting. o wait thats my fault.!!!!

i had a hypertech in my 7.3 when i bought my DP, i stacked them and it fried my PCM. why take the chance?

Stacking WILL NOT fry a pcm... if your PCM got cooked it was not because of the stack.
