Wink DP tuner vs Superchips

I was planning on getting a Superchips 1705 micro tuner for my truck. After reading through the forum would you guys recommend the DP tuner over the Superchip?? All my buddies have the Superchip and really like it. I am not planning on doing any major mods just some minor ones. Thanks

There is really no choice between the 2. Get a DP and never look back (unless your looking back to see your slow buddies)

There is no real comparison on a Superchips verses a DP. DP you are getting a custom tuned chip for your truck, Superchips you are getting a chip that works on all trucks.

Go with the DP Tuner.

There is no doubt dp is better but it depends on what you want my dad has a superchip on his truck and loves it. he has had it on the tow tune for over 130k and no problems. yet if you are trying to get the fastest truck of your buddies then go with the dp

Different strokes for different folks, but if you want the BEST tuning, go with DP

personally i don't have any experience w/ the DP tuner but i have heard good things about it. i can speak for all the people that i've sold the 1705 to and about 98% of them are happy the 2% being the people that it either didn't give them enough power or justa bad unit....it happens. check out our site there are tone of great reviews on it...matter of fact just sold 5 of them to a contractor in TX, b/c he picked up 3.5 mpg on his own truck.

DP tuner, honds down!!! Jody knows his stuff, If you spend the money you won't be disappointed. I've had a superchip, diesel injections, then banks big hoss plug in chip stacked with a edge EZ box all a:hehe . I love my dp tuner, then did some mods to my truck and had jody do some custom tunes. :evil:

-02 F-350 6spd, DP Tuner F-6, 300+cc B codes, 150 FASS, two custom s400's, BTS oil, dual disk clutch.
-95 Dodge 12V 5 spd puller
-Tow rig 03 FL-60 Freightliner QC by Sportsshassie, 300hp 3126, 6 spd allison, with propane and a TS chp
-97 ranger 2.3L 5spd
-06 F450 work truck with 11' IMT body

shouldn't even be a question. DP all the WAY. it fells great and if you want to do a custom balls to the wall race truck even to a 30k tow rig the dp will be the last chip you ever buy. plus ive already picked up 5mpg and ive been in mostly 100hp performance mode.

DP all the way. I have a used one for sale that will save ya money if your interested. My buddy has the superchips and with his on the extreme setting and myDP on the 80economy I can beat him but maby by a fender on the 1/4 mile. With it on the 140 setting its not even funny by the 1/8 Im a good 2 lengths ahead of him. Plus the DP you can flip goin down the road the superchips you have to shut the truck off and reprogram for like 10 min.
