Ideas on gauge location

I have a 1997 f250 and I am looking for ideas on gauge location. I would put them on the A pillar but the person before me put a spotlight there. Now I was wondering if since my truck has manual hubs it an EGT gauge would fit in the area of the dash where the pb 4x4 would have been. Has anyone done this or know if there is enough room to do this?

Thanks

Jason
