Safe boost level?

Just what the topic says.. What's the highest allowable boost level that a 24V Cummins can hold without blowing the lid? I've seen levels of 22 and 23 PSI on the interstate and I didn't know what "too high" was.. What do I need to keep the boost PSI under?

You can get 45 or 50 outta a HX35 but anything after 35psi is all hot air, and doesnt help you.
