Best chip just depends on what he wants and what he is wanting to spend. The Smarty is an awesome programmer if he wants to spend the money.

Here is a link with info on them:

The Diablo puck is a good chip for a little power and some mileage gain and they can be had for around $200.00.

best is bluechip FMS but its $$$$ tst is very good. quadzilla i believe are coming out with a new one offering 180hp and 400tq more than tst or juice for about 700. I have an edge juice w/att i bought when i first got in to this. its treated me well. It does have more saftey featchers than the tst but the tst pulls harder i would bought it if had to do it over again

as far as programmer smarty blows everything else away

A tst and smarty stack is best combow i have heard of and expereinced
