how much will automatic take?

Im looking at getting a dodge and want to know how much I can do before tranny wont take it anymore.

factory trans not a whole lot more than what it came with. a built trans will take a ton.

01 quad cab 4x4, edge drag comp, 4" exhaust, fass 150, 250 ddps, Jefferson State compounds 683hp so vp 11.91. AMSOIL front to rear. now back to stock 95 fummins in the works

My 02 would dyno 317 hp and 730 ft lbs but the TC died quickly. The guy running the dyno said it was the most he had seen out of a stock TC.

not likely, you could run a tuner at about 90hp before they take a dump, heck my stock trans went at 85k miles with no tuner at all... the 48re is notoriously weak in stock form, built they are a tank, they can take a beating... but you have to drop big bills to build them right...
