Injectors

I am looking at making a purchase for my buddys truck it's a 05 with edge juice and straight piped. He was wanting some input what's some good company's that sell a good reliable 100 +\- hp injector for the common rail trucks.

Ask the vendors. Or look at DDP, New Era, and Industrial Injection.

Pardon my ignorance, but I have looked into getting some better injectors in the future. The sites that I have looked at are giving my prices around $700, is this for the set of 6 or would that be each?

:agreed: a stock complete CR injector is usually around $400, and aftermarket tips alone cost $700-1200 for a set. II sells injectors for $500 each with a $200 core charge.

When upgrading, do you really want all new ones or will the tips alone suffice?

depends on how many miles and what kind of abuse they have seen! If you have under 50k and drive normal they should be fine. But remember Should is not are!! Makes sense to have them checked since they are out! May take a few days but sending them in makes sense to me! Just ask the dealer they usually have a 2 day turn around! Peice of mind is priceless!!
