Commander questions

I was installing this thing today and was wondering how it got it's boost reading? Also it says to put a wire into an existing fuse in the power box. This box is sealed all the way around How do I get the wire in there? Drill a hole or??

It probably gets its reading off the map sensor which means it cant read over 40 or 45 psi if you plan on making that much boost..and knotch the relay/fuse box to make room for the wire.. had to do the same thing on my parents 06 when i put a edge box on it...
