DIY cp3???

I read the relentless diesel DIY cp3 up grade it is simple enough is it worth it or do you need dual feed line and injectors to see power difference also will it help with rail chatter

pm BILLM2004 he has diy cp3 ask him how hard it was and if is worth it. he seems to having pretty good luck, but i dont thing he has enough fuel for all his mods

now own 2007 5.9 6 speed afe stage 2, ppe programmer, 5inch silverline turbo back

traded it in 01 dodge, dual disc, drag comp, head o ringed and studed, stock turbo

I read that articel, looks realy easy. But the only thing I would worry about would be the fact that your grinding on an expensive pump. I guess its just the same as a Modded CP3 from any shop. I hope it works because Im helping a buddy do it before the TS drag races!

unless you are going with larger injectors... you really have no reason to even upgrade it. A stock CP3 is good to around 500hp. Dual lines wouldn't do anything for you.

What kind of rail clatter are you talking about ? You shouldn't have any of that.

As mentioned... if you decide to do that mod, be very careful ! those pumps aren't cheap and it doesn't take a lot to make one a paper weight.
