5" straight pipe will be plenty loud. If you really want to hear them just install stacks.

If you really want it to rattle your brain 5 inch all the way back to a single stack that goes about half way up the cab! I had that and after a week i couldn't handle it any more! Had to make it the height of the cab and put a muffler on!

I have a 5" Magnaflow TBE with the muffler still on and I think its loud enough! I ran the stock exhaust completely straight for a week and it sounded like a small airplane taking off.

I want my 05 cummins to have a deep droan to it. Kind of like a semi has. I have heard other cummins that have a nice deep rumble to it and like it. My question is if i cut my muffler off and put straight pipe in it would that do the trick?
