wondering if anyone has this problem...i have hid headlights and work fine .....until i installed edge tuner,now every time i turn on lights i lose throttle until i let off then fine again....i took edge back off just to make sure and no problem.i put some tinfoil on edge wiring and hid high volt lines but same problem.think a noise filter will help?is the canbus that intolerant of noise.

I am not very knowledgeable, but some ballasts have a steep draw until fully charged. Is it possible that it is just drawing down bus voltage while the ballasts ramp up?

the thing is i have hids both high and low and the high is the problem and it is on a relay.......

I would not be too surprised if it is the lack of shielding on the edge.

Have you tried wrapping the edge module?

not the module itself just the wiring so far....mounted module where they said on fuse/relay panel i wonder if its to close to the light relay?

yesterday i put relays on both low and hight to battery....still hav stumble but mabe a little worse....edge looks like it resets..like when i start truck........

Probably in the Edge box. They have been having issues with quality control for about a year now. I'd call them and tell them about your issues.
