What's wrong with my Edge Juice/Attitude?

I aquired an Edge Juice w/Attitude that was going to be thrown away. When driving down the road, the EGT warning beeps randomly even when hardly applying any throttle. What could be causing this? Is there any chance this unit is salvageable?

1997 F-250 Super cab/Short bed 4x4 XLT
7.3L PowerStroke Diesel/ZF-5 Standard Trans.
DiamondEye 4" turboback exhaust/6" tip (no muff or cat)

On my LLY I used to have, my used Edge crapped out on me. So I dropped it off at Edge since they are only 15 minutes away. Ended up having to spend $350 as a discounted price since it was out of warranty. Is the egt hooked up to a probe? Can you go to the warnings and adjust the egt temp warning? If everything is correct, and it still does it I would save your money and buy something else. I never liked my Edge on my LLY. PPE or EFILIVE.

2002 F-350 CC, Shortbed, 4X4, rebuilt 7.3, EBV brake, 4" dual exhaust, B&D compressor wheel, head studs, Gear head performance 6 pos, Banks Big Head, built 4R100 w/triple disc torque conv, Shift kit, 204K, B&W Hitch and 5th wheel companion, Superlift Air Bags, 35 x 12.50 x 17 BFG KM2:

Yes, it is hooked up to a probe. Could the probe be bad? Being as I got this setup for free, I guess I'd be willing to stick some money in it to fix it. The Attitude monitor seems to work flawlessly.

Could be a possibility. Unhook the probe at the connectors and check resistance between the two wires. Or just unhook the probe wires and run it and see if it still does it. Did you reset the warning perameters in the edge?
