BOBO's tune runs pretty well!! track times!!!!

went to the track this weekend, first time ever racing, and my first ever run was a 13.3!! My truck was way over 7,000 pounds, 500 pounds in the toolbox, 18" wheels, 33" tires, and one of my friends sitting in the passenger seat. Also, I ran that 13.3 with the truck blowing the pressure releif valve and going into limp mode about 75 feet from the 1/4 mile mark!!!

I ran 12 times, blew the PRV every run, 1.8x was my best 60 foot time. 13.2 at 103.9 mph. Sooo the 104mph trap speed shows im making power, just need to launch better. With the truck not going into limp mode, and a 1.7x 60 foot time I will hopefully be in the 12's. Engine is bone stock other than a BD turbo and AFE intake. Transmission is a Suncoast IV, exhaust is MBRP. I did not run stacked, this is with Bobo's tune alone!! Also, I had no smoke after launch. The BD flows a lot of air and needs more fuel up to. I need to shim the PRV some more. When I shim it more, I COULD be in the 12's. We'll see in 2 weeks when I go back. Ill also try to lighten the truck up a bit.

Ben

I thought that the suncoast cured the limp mode issue? Are you telling me it might not?

He is throwing 1093's which is the pressure relief valve.

Ben, sounds like your truck is like Blue. I don't want to know how many he has

He has one that is about .030-.034(he didn't measure it, but I measured a bunch that were the same as his). One more should do him right. I got a tune for him to try once it is done...it rips!!!

I am not selling these tunes. They are for me and my buddies. I tune for fun, that is all.

Ben, those are nice times. I can't see the video from work as it is blocked, so I will have to wait till I get home. Sure it's nice though. By the way, what were you actually doing to kill the tranny like that? Did you ever get the tranny to limp at all? Jerry
