Dynoed my truck and another truck I tune

Here are the results. A Kennedy LLY Race tune was used for comparison on my truck. We switched to Matt's truck and I loaded a tune I made for truck pulling(EGT's are very controlled). Completely stock motor on #2 only. Here are the results:

I know, but I'll let him figure it out. It is easy to fix, but Kennedy needs to fix it. I could tell right away what it was doing. His tune is fun to drive.

And quick isn't it?

I can put more smoke into it and bring it up, but the present tune is designed to be driveable street and race without too much excessive smoke. It's also been tuned with a load which is why it excels under "road load" conditions.

When you say Kennedy Race Tune, is this a program you came up with Kennedy? Also what kind of trans work was done if any?

I do like that 120mph+,all that torque, and HP....ok I like everything.

This is a version of my LLY Race tune as plotted on my web site. I call it a "race" tune, because of the power output, but it is mild mannered enough to tow and drive daily IF you are careful. For full strip use, I may need to get a bit more aggressive. As is, it ran 13.5 at 100mph on Brandon's wife's LLY.

You WILL need a built transmission for this tune. The unit tested was RaceHemi's and is speed limited at 120mph.

I'm going to the track tonight. The Kennedy tune is a fun tune to drive, but not as fun as mine....mostly because it is mine and I love it. I'm not pulling any weight out at the track today. 6970# and we'll se what it will do. Should be a good time. I'll post results ASAP. It is a beautiful day, but kinda windy. I can't wait to race. There might be a Kennedy tune for me to race!

6070?????

A EC/SB is 6400lb, and even 2wd is 6150 IIRC.

Are the tires filled with helium?

best tonight was:

RT: .074

60': 1.868

330: 5.564

1/8: 8.624
MPH: 80.42

1000: 11.273

1/4: 13.522
MPH: 100.31

I backed it up with 4 other drivers!

Matt had about the same numbers. Track conditions sucked! Could only launch at 5-6 psi and spun real bad. This was at 6970# and stock TCM tuning. It is only going to get better. Had a blast. Thanks to everyone that showed!

Huge thanks to Merchant, Huckstorf, EFI, and my Alienator trans!! The more I beat on it, the better it shifted. Very consistent!

Cool, great effort!

..those times did look a little slow. I figured in the 1/8 you'd be in the 8.36 range. Dang, no such luck.....
