Damn! Tested the PPE Hot+2 ET just now.

I gotta try this at the track.

I had Blue's LLY PPE Hot+2 updated to the Hot+2 ET yesterday, and loaded it today. I took it for a spin... And I DO MEAN SPIN! It had just started to sprinkle, and when I nailed it at 45mph I put the truck sideways and the 285 BFG/KDW tires did not stop spinning until I lifted at 100.

Need some drier roads. I'll take Blue to the track next week and see what it runs. It's a definite improvement over the earlier version in drivibility and shifting.

We'll do track testing and road testing, and see what it does.

Joe at PPE also showed me a new tuner under development that will allow you to remove timing for nitrous or propane, do datalogging, and store 10 tunes. It removes EGR and turbo codes too. I might play with a prototype in the near future.

While I love EFILive and will continue to develop tuning using it, I also am interested in what "commercial" tuning is available, and will continue to test programs as they become available.

Does it add boost or are you using the boost controler still? Did you like how it makes the trans shift?

Hmmm... Dunno yet, running it with the PPE boost controller right now. I'll find out.

While the true test is at the track, so far I like the way it shifts.
