I gotta try this at the track.
I had Blue's LLY PPE Hot+2 updated to the Hot+2 ET yesterday, and loaded it today. I took it for a spin... And I DO MEAN SPIN! It had just started to sprinkle, and when I nailed it at 45mph I put the truck sideways and the 285 BFG/KDW tires did not stop spinning until I lifted at 100.
Need some drier roads. I'll take Blue to the track next week and see what it runs. It's a definite improvement over the earlier version in drivibility and shifting.
We'll do track testing and road testing, and see what it does.
Joe at PPE also showed me a new tuner under development that will allow you to remove timing for nitrous or propane, do datalogging, and store 10 tunes. It removes EGR and turbo codes too. I might play with a prototype in the near future.
While I love EFILive and will continue to develop tuning using it, I also am interested in what "commercial" tuning is available, and will continue to test programs as they become available.
