PPE VS EFI live

for a beginer what would be a better option to add to a 05 d max and what kind of numbers will you get from each one and is the efile easy to use if your not computer savy thanx

well ppe would be a better option u can get around 485 range and efi when u get that some people give u a free tune but u still need the laptop and time to learn the system but with the stock turbo u can get some more power out of efi but it takes time to learn. what are ur plans for the truck down the road ? like bigger turbo etc

Well, the are similar but EFI is the way to go, you can change EVERY parameter in the truck, and you can buy premade tunes.

2001 Chevy SB/CC Duramax LB7

Garrett GT4088R from PPE, PPE Duel fuelers, PPE Tuning, PPE stage 4 transmission w/suncoast 1056 converter, PPE Lift pump, Fabtech tie rods, Black Eagle alloys.
Engine is apart and in the garage
Goal is to have it done by the end of this summer.

ppe if you would rather not do the tuning yourself and if you only plan on 450RWHP but if you want the best go with efi live..

I've never run a PPE but EFI is awsome. Need a built trans if you plan to play much cause it's capable of 500-525rwhp with no more than a lift pump and exhaust.

01 2500 Duramax/ZF6,returned to daily driver590/995
03 3500 Duramax/Ally S/C IV EFI Live {Brothers truck}
04 3500 Duramax/Ally EFI Live,feed truck with 3 bale Hydra-Bed,very sick trans
06 4500 Duramax/Ally 4x4 Monroe,EFI Live,Danville turbo, CM flatbed
11 2500 Duramax/Ally 4x4 H&S tuned and deleted {GF's truck}
13 3500 Duramax/Ally 4x4 stock for a very short time
Some Green Equipment and a heard of Black Angus cows

EFI will occupy more of your time, but I have had no complaints from anyone about this. You end up learning so much about your truck, for some more than they wanted to know.
