Another module thread!

What's the concessus on the "Predator" module for an '04.5 LLY? Bare in mind I don't need world record 1/4 mile times and all that, just better power/torque throughout the range! Please respond if you've used it and your Pro's and Con's!

I'm a little confused now! Are the Dr. Performance and the Diablo Sport "Predator" the same, and if not which is better?

RMAX:

The DiabloSport Predator, version 2.02 is one of the most popular tune down - loaders available. I'm not familar with the unit advertised on the pickupspecialties website.

It may be beneficial to purchase a unit from a retailer recognized by DiabloSport in the event after sales support is required.

You may wish to contact one of our Supporting Vendors or John at Kennedy Diesel, (715) 255-9433. I've done business with Kennedy Diesel; excellent service and competitive prices.

Predator

I have alot of people confuse the two. Diablo Sport Predator is a programmer similar to Superchip, PPE, Bully Dog ect. Dr. Performance Predator is an inline module, it is referred to as a pressure box. It will only increase injection pressure. I personally recommend the PPE programmer, or Edge Juice with Attitude. PPE really has their programming down on the Duramax, the Edge is a great product also, in that it is a guage along built in safety features.

Best bang for the buck is the predator IMO. Price wise, it can't be beat. Still has more power available than a stock tranny can handle (it killed mine with a somewhat heavy right foot). For an intro level tuner/code reader, hard to go wrong with the Diablosport predator.

Tuff Country Suspension, Toyo MT's, Exhaust, Predator, Boost Stick, Kennedy Pumps, SunCoast IV, some Mike L. tranny stuff, some color matching, lots of other junk.
