What do yo want to do with the truck? Are you looking to tow a lot with or occasionally, do you want to take it to the track, sled pull, are you looking for 400hp, 500hp are you just looking for more fuel economy?

I am looking for more fuel economy and probably more than occasional towing! my dad had it before me and said he was getting 18-20 and driving out to wyoming from cali hauling a 3 horse bumper pull with one horse in it I was getting 13-15 running 55-70 with ac on and going up and down passes!

My boyfriend planned on 4" TBE however I want to keep everything legal in case of smogging back in CA. And I want to upgrade to towing mirrors... and possibly gauges just to do some monitoring...

As of right now I would like to stay away from programing..

It won't be that hard to put the factory exhaust back on it. And I would just look at the edge juice so you have gauges and a little jam when you want it. Towing you need brake controller first which it may already have. Next I suggest air bags if your going to do a lot of towing. If you want to stay away from tuning and more stock-ish do a muffler delete and add some Autometer or Isspro gauges and do your air bags for towing.

I think we might do that i know she wont be happy wit that plus to reinstall factory exhaust wouldnt take much we may just do a muffler delete instead lol to many options least im not running out of money now she will be lol How big of a mofo is the down pipe on these 6.6? Can you modify the factory intake? I do think the first thing i will get her is a exhaust or gauges boost and pyro should do just fine.

All i have to say is wow hidden power on these trucks lol this thing is decent for completely stock it smokes like a pig when you roll into it. Clean start up n mornings no whitish/blue smoke, no smoke at idle. The only wird thing i saw was the oil pressure gauge at idle it is right at 30psi and when you accelrate hard or easy it will shoot up to 60 is that normal? Other than that which i think im looking into it way to much she runs like a top now i want a damn dmax i have gotten lazy just from ridding in it maybe a fuel system or upgraded tie rods so i can pull wit out her knowing

3.5" down pipe stock, shouldn't smoke much at all if stock

If you wana have fun your gona have to do the trans, it just won't take the abuse of a tuner

A cheap, and really good tuner for the lb7 is the diablosport predator
