side pipes

so this is what i'm thinking about doin for an exhaust.

running 2.5 off the manifolds... separately... into 2.5 summit glasspacks. then running 4 inch off of that and out under the front of the door. then running that down to halfway between the front of the bed and the tire.

do you think this will hurt it any running that set up.. the true duals

and how loud do you think this will be?

thanks

i have the exact same setup on my truck, and it runs alot better to me. the only difference is i got mine comin out the back ''cowboy pipes''. i noticed it holds its speed on the highway alot better than it did with the stock exhaust.

but i will warn you, it gonna be LOUD

what do you mean like a helicopter? it would be real choppy? would it be better to have a crossover pipe?

Yes an x or H pipe is needed IMO. My friend had a n/a with dual exhaust and it sounded like a helicopter. Worse than a Subaru with a fart cannon.
Mine with a 3" down pipe into 5" single back to dual 5" miter cut stacks sounded wicked but I had a turbo to quiet and smooth the exhaust flow.

ok so would coming off the manifolds and turning out to the side pipes with a pipe running basically under the bell housing work alright? or would that be too much turbulence going through the exhaust.. ultimately i want it to perform better and look good so i want to do it correctly.
