Post Performance Chip, and Cold Air Intake

Hey guys I'm wondering if there any any performance chips for the 6.9L IDI, also I don't want to buy a pre-made cold air intake, I would like to make one but wondering where I would find the piece to bolt on to the intake that can have a 3" hose clamped onto it.

You cannot "chip" a mechanical injection pump.

ALL Ford diesels came from the factory with a "CAI", oftentimes they have been removed or rendered inoperative by people over the years.

I just made myself a new intake cost was $32+$60 for a K&N filter. The ducting I got at lowes. Saw a video on u tube and copied what I saw. 3" black PVC pipe, 2', a 90 elbow, a 22.5 elbow and a rubber adapter for hooking your sewer to old metal or clay pipe. Has about 5" opening on one side that fits on the intake of a 7.3IDI, just loosened the throttle cable mount so I could tuck the rubber adapter down further.
