Sensor behind speedometer

1993 f350 7.3 IDI no turbo 5 sp standard. The book shows two sensors for speedo one in rear end and an adjustable one behind speedo. Has anyone ever
Adjusted this?

Thanks

The adjustable part is for tire diameter. I never messed with this adjustment. You say you put in a new speed sensor in the rear end? Was it filled up with metal flakes? That is a major cause for these sensors going out. Oil change may be in order. This truck sounds like it was ridden hard and put up wet.
