What is this

1993 f350 7.3 IDI 5 spd std. No turbo
Could someone tell me what this is?
To the right of foot feed attached to dash.

It looks like the chimer, with all the rain last week my started going off whenever I had the headlights on, so I unplugged it and no more ding ding ding.

That's what I thought when u was searching for where the noise was coming from, but that's where the ding was coming from and I unplugged it and the noise went away. Haven't noticed anything else. Kept it unplugged still. Then you think, one should be hot, one from headlight, key cylinder, door sensors. So being more old school if truck they do need more wiring than the new trucks with solid state crap.
