1990 f250 7.3 e4od

Hey guys. Just wondered if anyone can help me answer this.

Im upgrading my old 1990 7.3 2wd E4OD due to slipping and being original. Problem is, the Speedo is cable driven. The output shaft on the newer E4OD 1994 does not have the spot for a gear. Its got the cable mounting hole, but the output shaft wont work with my speedo cable drive gear. The truck this came out of obviously had an electronic Speedo in the dash.

Question, whats my options and has anyone ran into this problem, any suggestions? Thanks guys!!!

I don't really know anything about this truck but I would change to the electronic speedometer.
That hole is probably for the electric pickup.

Ive never changed one over to electronic, but i would love to do that. Wonder how hard that would be? It would make my situation wayyyyy easier.

Do you have access to the donor truck? Check if that was the sender or did I use a sender on a front hub.
Can you move the speedometer over?

Should only be 4 wires.
12v
Ground
Dash lights
Signal to sender.

The sender gets 2 or three
Signal
12v
Ground (maybe)
