best Sub and box for CC

Im wanting to put a system in my 06 CC, i have an avic d3 as a head unit. Im thinking either 4 kicker 8's or 2 memphis 10's, anyone have any experiences with either of these. My goal is to have as clean of bass as possible and able to hear every word clearly. Any opinoins or other options welcome!

I have the single ported with a Pioneer 12" and its more than enough for a DD. Mine "only" has a mono 750 watt amp though...
Call Mike; he can make anything you want, although the dual 12's are IMO too much thump.

I have the SPL2K single ported 12 box as well and love it. Mine is under powered and still sounds great. Like the above poster said, contact him he really knows his stuff and can help you do whatever you want.

I have (2) 10" JBL's in a box with a kicker amp (300-400W). And I have a coustic amp somewhere around 300-400w for the other 4 speakers. I just wanted a system I could hear with the windows down. It seems to do the job.

i put 2 memphis 10's and a crossfire 1500w mono amp with kicker components and will be adding a audiopipe 4 channell for my components. Truck sounds really good, the D3 does good with controlling the subs and bass. I can tune it from ear bleeding to low bass within seconds i like it so far
