BFG All-Terrain A/T KO

anyone have pics of their trucks with this tire?
I'm thinking of getting some in the 285/75/16 Load Range E flavor for my stock 16" rims.
suggestions?

I had them on mine. They looked ok. pics show them although there lousy pics. Traction really wasnt that great. I like my ProComp extreme A/T's alot better.

Suggestions? Yeah, get different tires. They're junk. Only good thing about them is that the wear is great, although I'm having a hard time understanding why my 3 year old (if that, I think it's more like 2.5) tires with 26K miles on them already show signs of dryrot/cracking. Snow traction sucks, mud traction sucks, anything slicker than dry grass leaves me reaching for 4x4.

I had a set of a/t revos, 285/75/16 load range e on my cummins, and they were horrid, the belts all shifted, the rode like crap, street tire traction at best. Then i replaced them with bfg a/t k/o sized 315/75/16 load range d, and loved them. great highway manners, no noise that could be heard over the 12valve, not a mud tire by any means, but a great all terrain tire. good in canadian winters, drove through 2-3 feet of snow with out a problem, they bit the road real well, good on wet/icy roads, and they got me thru some serious mud holes with out much spinning. again, not a mud tire, but a great all around, winter rated, siped all terrain tire that should give my heavy foot and hard driving tactics at least 80,000kms of service, so I'll buy them again.

Best tires I've ever owned. They didn't wear as well as the BFG's, but traction was great and they were much quieter than the BFGs. My 2wd F-150 handled 10" of snow and ice no problem with these tires.

Every BFG thread has mixed results. The truth is, people have mixed results with these tires.

My first set of BFG's on my truck lasted 55K miles. I thought that was great for an AT tire, so I bought another set. Second set lasted 25K miles, wearing down to the wear bar, and one tire completely splitting on the sidewall.

No change in maintenance between the two. Same rotation schedule, same tire pressure, etc. BFG was absolutely zero help. There was no reason for that tire to split along the sidewall like it did (the tire was cracking everywhere), yet BFG blamed me for abuse. They were actually quite rude about it too. Piss poor customer service IMO. There was also no reason for those tires to wear out like they did.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents. Your experience may vary.

hmm, I'm contemplating between the BFGs or some type of mud terrain tire.
I hardly put any miles on my truck, so something that has medium wear would be fine for me.
