Leveling kit.

I'm am looking for a good leveling kit for my truck. I just purchased some new rims and tires. The tires size is 295/75/r16 and are BfGoodrich All-Terrains. They run great on the truck just a very little rub and I mean a little rub. I would like to level it out. Any body know of a good one to go with or an idea of eliminating the rub on the rear of the fender well on the front.

1997 Dodge 2500 CUMMINS 5 spd 4x4, 16* timing, #10 plate, pump mods that make it go real hard, 3gsk, South Bend Con FE, studded and o-ringed, AEM Workhorse intake, Straight 4 inch exhaust into 6" Aussie tip Black powder coated stacks, modified turbo non wastegated now and the two big cowbells are now residing on my Goat. Smokes like a freight train and "Hey I got a goat finally!!!!!"

Now my wife's:2006 F-150 Crewcab XLT 4.6L V8 with every option available.

depending on what year the truck is i might can help you... if it has the front leaf springs it will be cheap and simple... on mine i have 4 plates of steel under the leaf springs and extended or bigger U-Bolts... thats it... if it has springs.... errmm... i guess you gotta buy one of those expensive ones or get those POS knuckle buster things

2000 F-250 cc Super Duty, TS Performance 6 pos, Exhaust, AFE intake, in dash tv/dvd/mp3, Memphis 12" sub in ported box, 20x10" Mazzi Hulks with 305-55-20 Toyo Open Country A/T's, APC projector headlights, Chrome wheel-to-wheel nerf bars...uhmm plenty of other B/S!

I have the exact same tires and Problems. Kevin, Bearhunter, told me how to fix it. Simply use a zip tie or something and pull the fender lining back a few inches. I did it and it worked like a charm. I too want a leveling kit, but just bought a new house, Closing the 27th, so no play dough for me for a while. The DR perf, Edge mini spring pack is the way to go!

DR offers a mini spring kit for a couple hundred bux.
Wont change the ride quality.
Or you can add some x springs from an F-350 to gain about 1.75" of lift

I was looking at Donahue Racing just didn't know if it would change ride quality. I know Truck Toys sells them and they are in the metroplex which makes it easy for me to get. Hopefully they'll chime in. My truck is an 03' so I have leaf springs all the way around. The F-350 springs are just as easy to get cause I have hookups at the local dealers and junkyards. But as far as I can remember they also have just 2 leaf springs up front. I'll try what dalpilot said for temp. use till I get something to raise the front a bit.

I had a Procomp leveling kit installed with 305 BFG AT's, no rub at all. I could go to 315's with some new wheels. The ride is so much better to. Much smoother ride and less body roll.

Okay I took my heat gun out of my work van and went to work on the inner fender well. Got a lot more room now. Also trimed the plastic on the edge of the bumper just in case. This was done this way till I decide which leveling kit I want.

I setup a guy w/ a F250 crew cab short bed w/ fiberglass cab. He went w/ the 2.5" front kit from Donahoe, and a F350 block in the rear, and put Bilsteins all the way around. He was amazed at how much better the truck preformed, his wife after driving it was glad he had spent the money to upgrade the truck! Let me know if I can help.
