I broke it.... again

http://photobucket.com/albums/v318/lukecline/carnage/ looks good right?:umno:

Those are the ex and int pushrods on cyl 4, no others were injured in the making of these pictures.

Gonna do a compression check tomorrow, if it passes only pushrods and rockers if it fails well its coming out. May just pull it anyway do rev kit, lower comp ratio a bit, new rings, slight porting, bearings and maybe rods and pistons depending on how they look.

Custom tuning by Tony Wildman. With my extreme setting i run 45+ psi boost, but with the program i was running at the time only runs 35-36 psi max and is my tow setting:smoke: . Im 99% sure that i floated the valves due to a combination of boost and rpms. With 215k on engine i knew sooner or later something was gonna give.

If you don't blow an engine occasionally, you aren't trying hard enough.

yeah but this is my second one in a little over a year. First one had 193k on it and silly me was towing very heavy with a chip and no gauges:rules::RTFM: . bought this one with 183k on it and now has a little 215k (225k on truck)....im not very nice to engines:umno: .

well didnt check compression, injectors were already out from lastnight and really didnt feel like re installing them all to do a comp check. Engine is coming out, with 215k+ on the clock im not gonna do a half *** job making this one work and just to end up blow it up in a week. Gonna get with couple people and decide what to upgrade and what to leave stock. Billets are definatly out of picture, i dont want/ need that expense.

Oh forgot to mention while taking another peek at things i found one rocker arm had hairline crack and other was busted pretty bad, dunno how i missed them last night. I'll post pics when i get home.
