doorlocks on a 00 CrewCab Super Duty

i bought this truck about half a year ago with 42k miles on it... someone said something about doorlock problems and a few weeks later sure enough the back ones didn't lock or unlock automatically... a few months later the front two only worked sometimes and now they rarely work... anyone had this problem? if so what is wrong is it just the actual power locks going out?

2000 F-250 cc Super Duty, TS Performance 6 pos, Exhaust, AFE intake, in dash tv/dvd/mp3, Memphis 12" sub in ported box, 20x10" Mazzi Hulks with 305-55-20 Toyo Open Country A/T's, APC projector headlights, Chrome wheel-to-wheel nerf bars...uhmm plenty of other B/S!

hey man I am not sure about the superduties but my F-150 the actuators are the problem. Does it seems like it loses power to the locks? If so that is your doorlock actuators. I went to a wrecking yard and got a different set but they have since gone out on me too. I would buy some new ones. The tech at the stealership said that all they do when this happens is take the actuators off and clean them with brake cleaner and stick them back on I have not ried this cause I am getting rid of my truck and don't care lol. Like I said this is for an F-150 but it sounds like the same problem. Hope this helps

actuators are a big problem for Ford in general...There easy to replace Mine on my 00' would move the rod a little but not unlock the doors..so I bought 4 off of E-bay and with a little engineering had the new ones working in no time flat..
