Do E3 plugs really do anything?

I just watched a thing on Speed about E3 spark plugs. I do not trust gimmicks and that is what the E3ís look like to me. I have heard that they do very well in small engine applications and even some imports. But I have also heard that they do nothing in V8ís. I am considering them for our old F250 with a 5.8 and I would appreciate any feedback from my fellow real truck owners.

I dont think they would do anything to a stock truck. you need upgraded coils and wires to make it even do anything. Electricity is like a garden hose if you have it sized down to 1/4inch and the other end is 1 inch its still not going to flow anybetter if everything is done after the 1/4 inch
