dash panel removal on '05

I have to install an aftermarket stereo on my cousin's '05 6L and was wondering how hard it to remove the large dash panel that surrounds the radio. I know it clips into place but not sure if like the 4x4 switch or light switch has to be pulled out in order for the panel to be removed. So just wondering if anyone has removed this panel and how hard it was? Thanks!

Yes, just start at the left side and slowly pull clips out. Do it slowly, then reach behind and unplug all the connectors. I had to put mine in 1st gear to pull it over the steering wheel.
