Fabtech ride in a 2005-2006 6.0

How is the ride with a Fabtech radius arms 6" lift? I am going to get a lift but I want it to ride better than the Stock FX4 package that is on the truck now. I am not sure on weither or not the get Fabtech or the Donahoe 4.5" lift. Both are about the same price. Rize is just out of the question. I am not going to send 2000 plus on a lift kit. It is sweet looking but Damn it is $$$$. Thanks

I just had the DR 4.5 with the 4-Link upgrade installed on Saturday in Chesapeake, VA at Farmboy Fabrications. I did spend almost $3000, but it was well worth it. The 4-Link upgrade is a $900 upgrade, but is well worth it. DR also makes a 7 Inch kit that the same 4-Link works on. The 4.5 kit is more like 5 Inches front, and 3 Inches rear with the 5 Inch block.

The truck rides 300% better than stock. If you are interested drop me a line, and I can give you some phone numbers of some people to talk to. If you are willing to make a run to Richmond, I can let you drive mine, and trust me, once you do, you won't want anything other than the DR 4-Link.

I have the Kit you are talking about on my wifes 06. The ride is almost like stock maybe a little better. I have had the truck over 100mph before and it felt stable also. I have had no isssues so far with this kit.

rize makes a radius arm kit that is quite a bit cheaper than their 4link kit. i dont think youll run into bracketry failute with any manufacturer, so that shouldnt sell you on the DR or rize kit. what makes the rize and dr kit RIDE so much nicer than fabtech, skyjacker, pro comp etc. is their spring, and the nice shocks people run also.

weve done this for a friend, and i would suggest it as an option for you. buy a fabtech kit minus the springs and shocks. it is a lot less than a rize or dr box kit. then purchase some deaver springs from dr or rize for the front, theyre only about 200 bucks. get some 5100 bilsteins all around for around 325, and some super lift select springs for the rear, about another 250. now youve pieced together a kit that will ride nearly as good as a $2600 full spring rize lift for a little over 1000 bucks...

05 f350 crew cab long bed, 10.5" rize, deaver rears, bilstein 5150s front and back, 38x15.50x18 **** cepek mud countrys, 18x9.5 pro comp 1023s clearcoated, 4.56s, pml diff covers, rize ladder bars, rize dual stabilzer with bilsteins, adj. trac bar, amp reasearch steps, doug tuned sct, airaid with zoodad, 5" straight pipe, fluidampr, welded egr, shimmed regulator, isspros, viair 480c with nathan p3, husky mats, marathon seat covers, uws toolbox, uws 100 gallon transfer tank w/15gpm pump, uws dog box
