Clunk when i step on the brakes

You can feel it through the floor. Occcurs apprx 80% of the time and seems to be getting worse. Possible bjoint problems?? i have checked to see if anything was loose and found nothing obvious. i have not jacked it up and wiggled yet.

does it do it when you take off again after stopping, i've seen similar things when the tranny or tcase mounts get warn or loose and it allows the tranny or tcase to shift position.

The sway bar end-link bushings are toast on my truck and they do exactly what you described.

It could also be a bad cab or front clip mount isolator bushing that goes between the frame and the body. I have seen those go bad on superduties and excursions over the last 5 or 6 years.
